Who installs split systems?

Do I need permission to install AC?
Sometimes. Most houses can fit a split system under permitted development, but flats, leaseholds, listed buildings and conservation areas usually need freeholder or planning consent. What warranty will installed systems have?
Launch target: minimum 3-year manufacturer warranty on hardware plus workmanship guarantees from the installing partner, confirmed in writing per order. Details will be published on the warranty page before any installation is sold.
